Loving Malaysia @ 4:57 PM

I just love Malaysia, just because of the aplenty holidays that we have!

It would be impossible for us, if studying in Australia, to have such a long stretch of holidays!

Neurosurgery and things to do @ 9:09 AM

Sitting here,
listening to Prof Rusli talk
while surfing the net
very sleeeepppyyy
but have to go for ID clinic afterwards :(

then happened upon JK's msg about this blog
and decided to make a list of things to do

  1. start doing CAT on harm due 29th August
  2. Examination MCRs due by 29th August
  3. do log book (injection, iv cannulation etc)
  4. PBLs

oh yes. another thing. with regards to the neurosurgery, we apparently need to schedule 2 replacement classes cuz they have a 4 step program for us
important thing is that by the end of this 4 step posting, Neurosurgery will sign off our Neurology historytaking and examination + MMSE in the log book.

who knows, we might even get to sign off the eye examination as well.

New MuMeds Shirt @ 1:34 AM

It is one of the most least fashionable designs I have ever seen in my life.

Even a plain round collar T shirt is nicer.

I have no idea who designed the T shirt. Anyway the end product is markedly different from the one advertised.

They added a dodgy phrase at the back "Trust me, I am a doctor." Firstly we are far from being qualified to be called a doctor, the most senior students are only fourth year and below. Secondly, too bad if you don't have the charisma of a doctor - you dont have to tell others to trust you, unless you are unbelieaveable in the first place.

Too bad that I dont have any pictures to upload.

I will try to take some pics when MuMeds committees wear them during any functions. I don't know who is so generous to buy a RM 25 pyjama.

Welcome @ 12:39 AM

Welcome to our blog.

Our group members consist of

Hakimah
Shehara
Anna
Mau Ren
Ji Keon
Sue Wern
Zul

Randomly, these seven people were grouped together at the beginning of the year in the quest of their medical studies.

Use this blog wisely. Not to post PBLs, but to note down any relevant, or random thoughts or events.

I hope that this is not the first and last post. Hehe
